About This Platform
This is a sophisticated basketball analytics and media platform built specifically for the UConn Men's Club Basketball program. It serves as a central hub for players, coaches, fans, and the broader community to access real-time game statistics, advanced performance metrics, player profiles, team analytics, and editorial news coverage. The platform tracks traditional box score statistics alongside advanced analytics that help each athlete understand more about their game.
This platform is designed and controlled by Colin Holder, a Finance major with a minor in Analytics at the University of Connecticut and the Head Data Analyst for the UConn Men's Club Basketball team. This platform represents more than a statistics website; it reflects my commitment to analyze game film and create visualizations using play-by-play data that help tell the story behind every game. As I continue to expand my knowledge as the team's analyst, my long-term goal is to pursue a career in professional basketball analytics, where I can contribute to an organization by combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of the game. Whether you're a player, coach, recruiter, or fellow analytics enthusiast, I hope this platform showcases not only the UConn Men's Club Basketball program but also my dedication to advancing the role of data in basketball.
